Quite recently I have discovered TED, a website containing video registrations of speakers at the TED conference. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from those three worlds. Since then its scope has become ever broader. TED features some of the most inspirational thought leaders, artists and innovators.
This video features Sir Ken Robinson, giving his thoughts on why education kills creativity. I was so inspired by his ideas, as well as his profound and humorous way of presenting, that I immediately bought his latest book: The Element, how finding your passion changes everything. Although I haven’t finished it yet, the book is very easy, and very amusing to read, an absolute recommendation. I will write my response to his book once I have finished it.
For now, sit back, relax, and be inspired by Sir Ken Robinson!
